Our story
For years, anglers headed to Falls Lake had two stops on Six Forks Road: Bayleaf USA Live Bait & Tackle and Outhouse Bait & Tackle. Falls Lake Outpost brings both together under one roof at 11609 Six Forks Road, with the same live bait, local tackle knowledge and friendly counter talk that made those shops a habit for so many people.
We rebuilt the space from the floorboards up and added the things a modern lake stop should have: an espresso bar, NC Wildlife licensing, rod and reel repair, consignment boat sales, and Falls Lake shirts and hats. The result is Raleigh's only dedicated bait and tackle shop.
From bare boards to bait shop
The old building on Six Forks Road, stripped to the studs before the tackle walls, bait tanks and espresso bar went in.
